You will feel as if you have stepped back in time as you approach this authentic log cabin perched high on a ridge at Leatherwood Mountains.  Constructed of three- 200 year old cabins linked by enclosed rooms and all under one roof, the Buck and Doe looks like a picturesque old homestead on the outside, but features modern amenities on the inside.

There are 3 master bedrooms, each with a private bath, a gourmet kitchen with a gas range w/electric and gas ovens and a large center work-island, a large great room with a wood-burning fire place and an office equipped with DSL and Y-Fi.  There is a large screened porch, and 3 other covered porches and a deck with a large hot tub.

Incredible western views of Grandfather Mountain, Hawkbill, and Table Rock Mountains will tempt you to stay in the rocking chairs, porch swings and hammock on the covered back porches, or watch the sun set behind the mountains while soaking in the hot tub.

Deer and turkey wander the private 15 acres while hawks, woodpeckers, and humming birds soar over the peaks and valleys between Leatherwood, Boone, and Blowing Rock.
