New to the rental market in the Winter of 2024, Changes in Altitude is the epitome of NC mountain charm. This cozy, 3BR/2BA cabin showcases 270-degree long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Leave the world behind when you walk through the door! Relax in the hot tub and take in a beautiful sunset and a starlit night. Listen to the wildlife. Enjoy your morning coffee and a good book on the front porch. Challenge someone to a card game, do a puzzle as a family, or enjoy a video game inside. This lovely cabin is perfect for couples and families.

Our cabin comfortably sleeps seven and includes a primary king suite with an en suite bath, a queen bedroom, a trundle bunk bedroom, and a secondary full bathroom. Each bedroom comes equipped with its own Roku TV. The family room is the perfect size for a family game night or TV marathon. The kitchen features modern-day appliances and is well equipped to make your favorite meal — complete with a propane grill out back. Enjoy your meals together sitting around the dining table or on the back patio. Our cabin has fresh linens and separate bath and hot tub towels.

Need some fresh mountain air? Step outside onto one of two porches. The uncovered porch faces East, has an outdoor dining set for four, and a propane grill. The covered, picturesque West-facing porch, featuring mountain landscape views, is the perfect place to watch the sunset, read a good book, listen to nature, and enjoy a soak in the hot tub. You can even do them all at the same time!

This home is located in the laid-back 4,000-acre, Leatherwood Mountain Resort in Ferguson, NC. Our guests are invited to enjoy our Horseback Riding program where you can experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains’ pristine wilderness by Horseback (reservation required). You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, a community swimming pool, a playground, tennis and pickleball courts, creek tubing (seasonal), and an on-site restaurant with active live music & event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals).

Our neighborhood is very safe and our property is secluded. For added peace of mind, there are security cameras by the gated entrance and common areas. Individual properties may also have cameras on the EXTERIOR of homes. Please be assured they are not directed at private areas, hot tub, porches, etc.
